Thermalux Supreme Mk 3 Cooker

Supreme Mk3

Guaranteed timeless design and reliability for the duration of your life.

The Thermalux Supreme Mk 3 is a high quality, two-oven, slow combustion cooking stove. In addition, it has the largest hot plate and oven of any Australian made cooking stove on the market.

The original Supreme was launched onto the market almost forty years ago. Having only a few cosmetic changes in that time, the design remains timeless and reliable.

Firstly, Built to last and constructed from cast iron, heavy gauge steel and stainless steel components. All ovens are manufactured from thick plate steel, unlike others made from light steel, which tend to burn out over time. The Supreme ovens will last the life of the stove and that could be as long as 50 years or more!

The ovens are self cleaning and self venting and maintain an even all round temperature for perfect baking. Temperature is controlled with dual air controls, a flue damper and dilution control, all giving a swift response to temperature requirements.

The solid cast iron hotplate is capable of accommodating up to six saucepans. However there is also a convenient cast iron simmer plate to keep your meal just on the boil. When the hotplate is not in use the hinged hotplate covers retain the heat in the stove.

Options include:

  • a glass oven door
  • splash back with built in plate rack
  • chrome hot plate covers
  • powder-coated doors
  • a plinth to raise the height of the stove to bench high.

The Mk 3 can also be placed ‘mirror image’ with the oven and the flue on the left and the firebox and water pipes on the right, making some installations easier.

Secondly, it comes with a choice of hard wearing specialist painted finishes with standard colours in black, charcoal, blue, green and brown. Mojave red is also available at a small extra cost.

Stirling Upgrade:

Available in the upgraded Stirling model. This features a chrome hob, powder coated doors in a range of designer colours, chrome hotplate covers and much more.

Hydronic Heating:

The option of a 5 kw water jacket for domestic hot water heating, an 8 kw water jacket for domestic and small hydronic supply or even a massive 20 kw for hydronic projects up to 200m2 in the Supreme CD model. The Supreme CD (central heating cooker) has a heat output of 20 kw. This gives the CD one of the highest heat outputs on the Australian market. The CD has an additional air control which provides greater combustion. Furthermore, it will run hydronic radiators or underfloor coil heating to heat up to a 200m2.
